New Century Resources: Land Court decision on ERC amount

The Land Court recently issued its decision on the estimated rehabilitation cost (ERC) amount payable by New Century Resources for its zinc mine in northern Queensland. The decision includes an interesting discussion about how DES' guideline, which imposes a 'high risk rate' for mine structures that contain potentially acid-forming materials, interacts with alternative mine capping proposals.
